WiFi Booster - Live WiFi Heatmap

Live Wi-Fi heatmap is an automatic Wi-Fi mapping tool that is ideal for businesses, network admins, and even individuals to monitor and optimize their network capabilities (Gillis, n.d.). As it is a form of Networking Performance Monitor (NPM), it functions by monitoring networks, servers, and any device with internet access and begins collecting and analyzing data accordingly (Hein, 2019). It would then identify any bottlenecks or congestion points and create reports, and alert users (Hein, 2019). Whereas in this case, reports and alerts would be indicated by the Wi-Fi’s strength and then visually represented in an orthographical map of the zones. These zones would then be highlighted according to their wi-fi strength where red indicates a weak connection while green is the most optimal (Zelleke, 2023).
